WESTONIA DEEPS INITIATIVE PROGRESS REPORT AND ASSAY SUMMARY
HIGHLIGHTS
* Infill assaying program completed.
* Release of multiple gold drill intersections, including 5.0m at 50.0 g/t, 5m at 38.7 g/t, 13.0m at 16.9 g/t and 12.0m at 11.4 g/t, beyond the planned open cut attests to underground mining potential.
* Deep drilling to begin as soon as a suitable rig becomes available.
GOLD INTERSECTIONS
The Westonia Deeps Initiative aims to test the Company's wholly owned Westonia system to a depth of around 1000m, and to define ore reserves which can be mined underground so as to provide for a long-term operation there. Mining would be by modern mechanised methods over broad zones of mineralisation, and would initially utilise the Companys decline which is already at a depth of 264m.
Westonia Mines Limited ("WEZ") has completed the first phase of the Initiative. It has carried out its intended infill assaying program on those prospective sections of diamond drill core which had not previously been assayed.
WEZ is very encouraged by the widespread occurrence of gold at depth and laterally beyond the zone likely to be mined by the renewed open cut operation. It is considered timely to release a summary of individual hole data as an illustration of the spread of mineralisation and of potential future economic tenor. The following Table lists uncut downhole gold intersections beyond the present pit plan and based on a 25 gram - metre cut-off. That is, at least 5 g/t gold when averaged over at least 5 metres downhole. It includes results from the recently assayed infill program, as well as holes assayed previously.
Figure 1 shows the general positions and orientations of the tabulated drill holes, as well as the surface projection of the planned pit.

HOLE ID SAMPLE SAMPLE GRAM - LENGTH GRADE FROM TO (M) METRES (M) (G/T) (M) (G/T)
WRC prefix refers to reverse circulation drill holes; WERC to RC holes in the Golden Point area some 500m east of the planned pit; WDD to diamond holes drilled from surface; and WUD to underground diamond holes. * Refers to holes with recent infill assaying.
DRILLING
Figure 2 presents a cross section which includes the deepest drilling to date and provides an indication of mineralisation continuity potential.
Planning for the first round of drilling under the Deeps Initiative is almost complete. Suitable drill rigs are being sought and drilling will commence as soon as they are available.
