^^^ I agree its being ticked off slowly. They have to approve or disapprove following the already exisiting formal guidelines. There’s a huge push against this permit but most of what I have seen is scare mongering from uninformed. Most comments are talking about the environmental risks of oil.... they’re drilling for gas! Anyway, I’ve taken the risk as I feel like this is a good exploration for Australia both economically and environmentally.
The approval has to follow the guidelines not the voice of protests. Every decision these days has groups protesting and usually using inaccurate reasons.
