I reckon JP is ready to approve the extension but with good old Craig Kelly resigning from the LNP and the Government down to a majority of one, the idea of stirring up the anti-PEP11 brigade in those coastal seats might be making Scomo a bit nervous.
This situation can give back benchers a bit more leverage in Government decision making and there are probably a few copping some heat over PEP11 - hopefully JP hold firm and politics doesn't get in the way of a rational decision that could see a rich new resource right on New South Wales doorstep (I know - all decisions are politically motivated in this country it seems)
I've been in BUY since before the last drill so would love to see the correct decision made and the SP take off!
