Santos and Ampolex did hold the PEP11 permit in 1991 but allowed BUY to take the permit over , BUY handed over 85% of the permit to Brez and they drilled in 2010 and found no gas,
if Santos believed there was money to be made and a commercial level of gas to be found in the permit area they would not have allowed BUY to take the permit off there hands ?
Santos would not touch PEP11 with a barge pole !! And Santos already controls 98% of production takings
and run the operation in Queensland for BUY so not sure there is much worthwhile left ?
