Would love for someone to correct any mistakes in these calculations.
1 GJ = 0.95 thousand cubic feet of natural gas at 1000 Btu/cf source https://www.cetinerengineering.com/conversiontables.html
with the well subsequently flowing 4.1 million cubic feet per day and 988 barrels of condesate I did some calculations
assuming condensate is of equal value to our barrels of oil sold in our most recent monthly update A$124.49 per barrel (probably worth more IMO).
988 barrels/day × AUD $124.49/barrel = AUD $123,057.12 per day
4.1 million cubic feet (mmcf) = 4,100 Mcf.
Mcf to GJ using the given conversion factor:4,100 Mcf ÷ 0.95 Mcf/GJ = 4,315.79 GJ/day.
Gas price at AUD $10 per GJ: 4,315.79 GJ/day × AUD $10/GJ = AUD $43,157.90 per day.
Daily total revenue AUD $166,215
Annual AUD $60,672,479 (60 million)
Obviously excludes all costs and is not financial advice value of condesate drastically varies these numbers. Appears based on these pre cost calculations to be a money printer with the only issue being the size. At 5 BCF the well life time would be 3.34 years, 6.68 years for 10BCF and so on
