I'm also curious about a potential buy back of the permit. I think it could be the best outcome for SHs and the TaxPayer as it would allow the Govt to have direct revenues and take on bigger risks to drill the fields for gas.
The only reservation is that the Govt has zero expertise in drilling for gas and operations of rigs. But they can always hire consultants for that advice.
