Once NOPTA has processed anapplication and provided its advice to the Joint Authority for decision thefollowing steps occur
- The Joint Authority reviews NOPTA’s advice (current PEP-11 status)
- The State/NT member of the Joint Authority provides their written decision to the Commonwealth member of the Joint Authority (with a copy to NOPTA) prior to the Commonwealth member providing a written decision to the State/NT member (with a copy to NOPTA).
- NOPTA implements the Joint Authority’s decision and advises the titleholders.
The NEATS is the primary public platform forcommunicating decisions.
