Ahhhh the principle of insufficient reason...
I remember learning this in school, you think equal probabilities should be assigned to each option (yes/no 50/50) as you have found no confirmation in your research (or lack thereof) to assign them their appropriate probabilities.
Do you assign yourself a 50/50 chance of winning the lottery because you can either win or lose? Obviously not...
