listened to the CEO of AEMO this morning who confirmed coal fired power stations are old and the future is renewables backed up by batteries, hydro and gas generation.
for me the beauty of gas generation is that it can be turned on and off quickly unlike coal fired generators.
COP 28 confirms gas is an interim step so everything points towards approving PEP11
