I don't like to predict PEP11 approval date but what I will say is today and tomorrow are a real possibility.

Recent chain of events lead me to believe this.

First of all...

In my honest opinion if NOPTA had recommended refusal it would be game over by now.

The fact that PEP11 was not refused during the recent COP28 UN climate summit time period is extremely bullish for PEP11.

Recently we have seen 2 key documents come out from AEMO and ACCC stating the urgency Australia needs gas.

In the ACCC document this actually referenced Offsore Sydney Basin which can only be PEP11 gas project.

Align this with last Thursdays heatwave attack on NSW energy grid have a "Near death experience" with blackouts almost becoming a reality. Spot gas prices went from $80 up to +$1000.

Christmas time is a perfect time to approve PEP11.
