Some people dont understand the nature of the Tiwi Islanders claim.

The land in the Timor sea, now underwater, was land above water when the first Homo Sapiens migrated via Sunda and then Sahul.

I dont think the same claim can be made for the East Coast.

This all theory and supposition.

This is interesting though, as the data does indicate that the first Homo Sapiens arrived circa 60,000 years ago and probably not 80,000 plus years ago.
