Windfarms put in the right place should not be idle for long periods, they are put there for a reason.
LTR have one of the biggest windfarms for a company in Australia and combined with solar array they will produce the majority of the power need to run the mine and plant.
Are windfarms and solar systems totally environmentally friendly...NO...nothing is not even gas.
Gas will be around for decades as the attempt to transition is made to more environmentally friendly methods of power production are introduced.
This should not be a wind, solar V gas issue.
