These intended consultative process was clealry directed at situations such as the Santas/Tiwi Island dispute.
The decsion by Justice Natalie Charlesworth is very damning on the plaintiff and the EDO. The EDO is the Environmental Defefenders Office and is funded by the federal Labor Government. A defeat of this magnitude and the findings by Justice Charlesworth will demand that the EDO review theie actions and those invloved in "confecting" evidence and coaching witnesses.

IMO, this is a sigficant case, setting out the standards required for cultural heritage claims.
