Australia giving rebates to buy electric cars which require more power n thats being generated by burning fossil fuel. Some ppl will debate oh we charge our EV through solar panels. But solar panels were there before they bought EV n that extra Kwh solar were generating added to the grid - not anymore. Govt approve or reject this permit but their attitude show no maturity about this transition phase from fossil to renewable energy. They will realise when eastern states will be in trouble soon the remaiming gas reserves come to an end in next few years
