    Hey Bravo77,

From what I can decipher, it was the Minerals Legislation Amendment (Offshore Drilling and Associated Infrastructure Prohibition) Bill 2023 that was referred to the Environment and Planning Committee for inquiry and report, and their report on this Bill was tabled on 21 November 2023.

This Bill remains deferred until 14 March 2024.

Yesterday saw the introduction of an entirely new Bill titled Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Sea Bed Mining and Exploration) Bill, which is the Bill I spoke of in my post earlier this morning. This was first read yesterday 7 Feb 2024, and debate has since been adjourned for 5 days.

The original Bill may likely lapse now and be superseded by yesterday’s new Bill. I suspect yesterday's new Bill that was introduced is the amended Bill you mention, which attempts to counteract/overcome issues raised by the Environment and Planning Committee?
