Ah yes, I see. Thanks for that fordfan. Well, it doesn't sound good, especially Clause 2.



What concerns me the most is how this would impact on David Breeze's plan (as reported in yesterdays AFR) that the" plan would rely on bringing it to the mainland via gas import terminals that do not yet exist – such as a proposal from Andrew Forrest’s Squadron Energy for Port Kembla". It seems as though Clause 2 might prevent thwart that plan and potentially render the whole project unviable.

The only positive (if you could call it that) as you point out previously is the exemption clause even though that sounds like a nightmare.



Despite how concerned I am, I'm still unsure that this proposed Bill (if it passes) would be enough to prevent Advent from undertaking drilling as to the reasons outlined in my previous post.
