Note from what I read on the previous court case the project is under review re the JA based on merit of the licence etc alone, NOT what Joe or Joanne Public wants. I've never been asked once for my opinion on any government works including a frikken tree planted (we've lived here for 35 years) on our nature strip on a BLIND corner and right against our actual driveway so you couldn't even turn around to exit as safely as possible face first... when I objected I was told the tree did not require their maintenance or for them to do anything about the dangers it presents... sadly it got run over.
I'm thinking there's an analogy in there, somewhere.
