Will it be approved?? Based on the facts before us it should be on the balance of probability IMO.

Is there opposition to the project. Yes however the opposition should not be confused with validity. The opposition simply has a media platform and so seem much greater than they actually are.

Do posts indicate desperation??? I don’t think they do. I think the case for approval is fundamentally valid and reasonable. The conjecture around peripheral matters is for individuals to assess and evaluate based on their own beliefs. Can it be argued that the legislative move mounted by the NSW government to amend legislation smacks of desperation?? I could definitely mount a case for that.

Ultimately no one’s knows the outcome but I fail to see the value of simply taking a contrarian view for the sake of it.
