This is not a claim it was BREAKING NEWS I.e. fact. I was watching Sky News this arvo and the news conference came on and it had Albo trying to speak and being heckled. Naturally I continued to watch and saw how he handled the situation. After he continued I was surprised that the PM started to speak about PEP 11. Naturally I had my attention peaked and heard the PM blame SCOMO for stuffing it up. This is what I suggested to DB that Labor should do if they wanted to approve PEP 11. As I recall it was on the Central Coast that SCOMO quashed PEP 11. If I’m correct …so poetic.
Anyhow, the PM went onto wax lyrical about how important gas is as a firming agent and a transitional fuel. Now you don’t have to be a genius to put two and two together to realise that firstly, PM AND MK have both been in Canberra and discussing PEP 11. Secondly, if shortly after mentioning PEP 11, he supports gas as a fuel source for power stations in the Hunter area, that they are favourable to the idea of approving PEP 11…imminently IMO.
