Since I retired I live for the most part in Indonesia. Quite often I get asked what it is like being from a country without corruption. I sadly laugh and embarassingly reply that our Australia government is very corrupt and definitely does not have national interest at heart but are only concerned with trying to hold onto power. The last Indonesian govt has turned this country's economy around in their resource sector, maybe the Australian govt should swallow their pride and look what the Indonesians are doing.
