Not too sure.

I would assume there is a lot of lobbying behind the scenes by industry, the gas lobby and unions. Then there is our traditional customers such as Japan and Korea, who desperately want our gas. And the budget bottom line needs as many dollasr as it can get.

Reading ZS amendment, I simply think it would be madness to pass legislation that is directed at a legitimate project of national importance. Surely this is unconstituitional.

The 2 month grace period is interesting also. Still cannot work out why this was inserted
