So I guess in the latest episode of this amazing soap opera, the characters have really turned up the heat. Everyone is attempting an Oscar winning performance but it's just all too on the nose. I like to go back to the tried and true wisdom of realising that when really smart people do really dumb things, it's very much intentional, and there are ulterior motives at play here.

I think the NSW Gov could be working in secret with the Fed to make sure PEP 11 is approved and goes ahead, but in a way that would not rile up their voter base. Otherwise, who goes up on stage like they have and give BPH/Advent's lawyers everything they need to win a court case over this?

If this bill does pass it'll be because they know this new Law has no real teeth to achieve anything meaningful, or it's just not going to pass because of how intentionally poorly worded and written it is.
