Thank you for the local knowledge, yes I should have mentioned the Northern Beaches districts before Newcastle.
Having an onshore gas plant would provide more jobs to locals who want to go home every night rather than multi week rosters offshore.
Being able to live in Newcastle where there are beaches, MTB trails and the rest whilst earning decent money working in the Gas industry is a rare scenario for any New South Welshman.
Personally I can't wait, but secretly I'm hoping for a manned Offshore Platform or an FPSO.
