This information is provided in a Parliamentary Research Paper 2023 (Parliament of NSW) Petroleum exploration permit 11 (PEP 11): Recent Developments and it states that Courtney Houssos re-iterated NSW Labour's opposition (ergo her own opposition) to PEP-11. This in itself demonstrates IMO, that she would not be able to bring an unbiased mind to her considerations. I think that she would avoid putting herself in that position because it would be picked up and used against her in two seconds flat if she rejected the licence.
Of course many other's have expressed opposition to PEP-11 but they are NOT the NSW JA.
I can't find anything Ed Husic has said in opposition to Pep-11, so maybe he'll get the guernsy or should I say the poison chalice?
