THanks for that.

Reading previous comments such as these gives me confidence that in the event that MK has delegated the approval decision for the following reasons.

MK has placed herself in a bind. Previous comments were clearly anti PEP-11.

Now MK wears the big shoes and she can no longer make populist off-the-cuff comments.

MK is now accountable for her actions and her decisions.

What does she do? Well, she can put the decsion in the hands of someone else, knowing they will follow the law and approve.

MK response is that a person without bias has reviewed the application and NOPTA advice and the logical and reasonable conclusion is to approve.

Bit of flak for a week, then we can move onto the next confected problem or contraversy.

A decision to decline will expose MK and the Labor party to litigation and much bad press.

Forget about a few surfers and TEALs.

THose heavy hitters wanting more gas do have lots of grunt. Large industry employing lots of people.

Lobby industry is a bit like an iceberg.
