that's the step taken to avoid 3D seismic survey..as it could be dangerous for Marine creatures living in 79% of earth.
but it is necessary to install Gas rig..May be 3D survey Area will have to be reduced but surely it's needed on the bases of 2D results they can reduce the area for 3D survey as given to environmentalist. if we completely avoid then chances of interception decreases Or to get more productive drilling..
all though I am sure.. many SH on this forum will sell out once approval comes and will not wait for production..
