IMO
if the government is so fearful of the Greens scuttling their Vehicle Emissions Bill and were willing to pull the SAFETY Bill to appease them (eventhough they had the Libs backing and could have passed it in the Senate) - then in my opinion it doesnt bode well for a decision on PEP11 until AFTER this Vehicle Emissions Bill has passed Parliament!
What will the Greens do - IF FEDs were to APPROVE PEP11 now? They would probably go ballistic?!?
This would mean that the FEDs (and maybe their comrades in NSW) will continue to delay until AFTER the FEDs have passed the Vehicle Emissions Bill - earliest would be MAY!!! - BEFORE they will make a JA Decision on PEP11 and (in my opinion) APPROVE!!!...
This can NOT be allowed to happen. Both Govts cannot be allowed to keep delaying and screw PEP11 in the process.
