Agreed and I guess that's my point. They did come up with this in June 2023 according to JD so if its simply a case of delegating and denying I am surprised they didn't deny it 12 months ago and be done with it rather than go through all the pantomime of Zali's bill and NSW legislation.
Just my take on it but it doesn't make sense to me the other way around.
