Hey Michael.
Read your story about PEP11 and I am very disappointed in you for spreading misinformation regarding this project.
The target resource is gas not petroleum. There is a big difference as far as environmental issues are concerned as gas production has less environmental hazards than oil recovery.
Your column only adds fuel to the misconceptions that are being fed to the community in order to fulfill a politically motivated agenda.
If you care to take the time to research the PEP11 story I think you will find it very enlightening and you may start to see how beneficial this project could be to NSW as quick fix for the current energy supply shortage.
Just a side note, all this carry on and bad press is over an exploratory drill only. Nothing is proven.
