Due to bias/prejudices/and 'retribution'.... that is why you have Departments and LAWS to stop all of that effecting the decisions by Ministers.
I think she got herself in a pickle by 'supporting' gas (not necessarily PEP11)... especially in the last few weeks in parliament when pushing the SAFETY/NOPSEMA bill. Quoting her words back from 2022 when she was opposition member to what she has been saying as a Minister - are TWO different things. But if you combine the two then you could have either side of PEP11 claiming that she is biased. AND as I have said - for me - dont care what her words have been since she was born to this day.....if she makes her decision in accordance with the LAW and it can stand up in court - then she has performed her duty (or Ed as the case is now)
