Something more recent - National Press Club March 2023 - talking about GAS and manufacturing / energy.

Must admit - I've warmed to Ed as I've listened to him. He seems to know his stuff and has a disarming demeanour.

Interestingly he mentions Narrabri gas project as being contentious, but it "went through the process" and was approved.

Sounds like that project has a problem where PEP-11 wont

Also - I don't think anyone can allege that either MK or Ed have bias if they approve the project - particularly as NOPTA have recommended it. There can only be bias alleged if they go against NOPTA's guidance.

Hopefully though Ed mans up and recognises he needs this project approved - particularly with some companies needing gas as a feedstock going out of business. This could be a strategic punt by MK - have Ed approve it - because his industry portfolio NEEDS it - and therefore he's got better push back towards Albo. Ed has a union background too - slightly to the 'right' I believe. However, and unrelated, somehow his sister ended up working temporarily in Albo's office as staff, before quitting... possibly due to a toxic environment.
