Mr. Husic is in a very safe seat in western Sydeny were there will not be any voter back lash. His place in parliament is not dependent on the votes of the nosiy minority.
Judging by her FB page and that her petition failed, ZS does no have any where near the support she claims.
Mr, Husic has publicly commented on the need for ore gas ans a transition fuel.
Mr, Husic knows that a denial would end up in a court dispute, that would sructinize his decision and the process leading up to the decision.
