I agree 100% with the first half of your post... up to the bit where it says we will be serviced by our current suppliers till they can transition across.

That's the whole point... most of the gas is exported... PEP11 was slated for domestic use to all for the transition phase.

I'm also hoping that the hydrogen phase moves along quickly as well... but ... unfortunately... it'll take time... hydrogen refilling stations for trucks (unlikely we'll get the hydrogen car although that'd be nice if they can get the prices down).... electric cars are already like a luxury for most.
