hello everyone,might be changing tact here a little but I have been noticing many of the big players in the coal mining industry have been selling out of their mines,BHP,S32 and now Anglo American have announced today they wish to get out of their 5 EastCoast mines. My question is who's taken these over if anyone and is it reflecting a massive change in Coal and also royalties to These East Coast Government Budgets for the future ?
Could these governments be about to be left with a massive hole in their income stream?
Are they doing anything to remedy this?
Manufacturing products maybe the answer but Power costs and lack of supply must be very concerning!
Looking from afar what is the feeling like on the EastCoast?
Surely obtaining gas supplies should be paramount to hopefully provide this cheap power supply needed all am I totally miss reading the situation and everything is fine?
Any information would be appreciated.Im writing this on my phone so maybe a few mistakes
