As I understand the process, following approval , you still need to get NOPTSEMA or environmental approval, prior to drilling. I think the NOPTSEMA requirements have been constantly changing. I don’t think it has anything to do with the NSW ban….I don’t worry about that as I believe it is a political exercise that will be withdrawn or amended to allow the piping of gas to shore….at worst, the FEDS will get rid of it ,if necessary.
