Making the news nearly everywhere is that the Eraring Power station operated by Origin in nearby Newcastle which is 50 years old and was scheduled to close has been given a 2 year extension by the government.
The government has agreed to pay the difference if the plant runs at a loss.
They are starting to wake that they are going to be stuffed soon.
