Just listening to Adam Bandit on Insiders. He was complaining about the extension of Eraring Power Station (biggest coal fired power station in Aus.) for extra two years to keep the lights on. When asked what he would do to prop up the system in NSW as it transitions to renewables…. He replied….i would put in more renewables (especially to renters!) over the next two years.
WTF does this goose think that will do…how many solar panels does he think would be needed to replace the nation’s biggest coal-fired power station? Does he think renters are going to install solar panels/batteries and presumably take them with them when they vacate? What are they going to do if we have a week or two of overcast weather like we just had in PEP 11 territory?
If he is the leader of The Greens , what do the others have for brains?
