PKIT is back in the news, for all the wrong reasons. This is going to rival the Victorian Desal Plant for uselessness.

The FSRU, which had been operating out of Singapore, is on the move, but not to Wollongong. The new destination for the most important part of the PKIT, is, wait for it, Egypt! The vessel is not expected back in Australia before February 2026. These is a proviso, PKIT would need customers, they currently have none. If they happen to get a customer, they will need to find a supply of gas, the whereabouts of such gas is currently unknown.

TBH, I doubt there will be any industry left to supply in NSW if gas prices end up high enough for Twiggy to make money out of the PKIT. All those jobs will be lost for good. It's a white elephant.
