The court provided Santos a permit to proceed in the 5-6 billion dollar gas project near the tiwi Islands recently.
The aboriginals lobbied against it on the premise that a 66cm pipeline would get in the way of their dream serpent cruising around the open ocean. The judge threw it out as there was evidence that elders misled the courts, and mythology was a long bow.
This happened in Jan champ. Look it up, then disregard it like all the other fact based examples others have put forward.
