top copy there Bravo77 - that exchange for me really demonstrates the eagerness that both State and Fed governments WANT to shut this down - the length of time in their hands suggests to me that NOPTA advice is at loggerheads to what both Govs want - and so now they have been trying to find a avenue to disregard or challenge this advice. The State Gov ban is but just one of many attempts to thwart the project, BUT does it impact on the NOPTA advise - we do not know - but it certainly does not enhance the project that is for sure and that is it likely aim.

If NOPTA had advised no approval it would have been all over on october last year full stop, they would have been tripping over themselves to declare it void.

so it is still a real punt here against both Gov coming up with a challenge that will stand up in the courts i suggest - could still be a long time coming!!!
