You're missing a key factor in the equation...
It's not just A SIMPLE WIND TURBINE* (Get your terminology correct)...
It is HUNDREDS OF THEM & THE SUITABLE POWER LINES + SYNTHETIC GROUNDING CABLES ETC.
VASTLY different circumstance for the whales to navigate around.
As one wind turbine might not be a problem for them, but 100's of them with the associated noise + frequency output would be catastrophic for them.
Otherwise, the PROVEN technology of gas drilling is capable of being seasonally deployed.
