They swim around ships daily.

Wheris, chains and a power cable from a wind turbine, they will not see that and could entangle as they do with fishing nets.

As it is deep water, any power cable will need to be very large diameter to support it's Weight or it will break, compared to shallow water cabling.

The environmental groups, when referring to whales, somehow think they are not intelligent if they can not detect a large structure which they do daily.

As mentioned above, whales avoid ships every day.
