Fame luck,
Not institutions because they are not major holders in the top 20.
It is individuals, and most likely to lower tax owed.
If someone has 300k cgt and 300k bph loss, they will dump bph to pull down cgt towards zero in my example.
Once July hits selling will cease.
Every single year, exactly what is happening here happens to stocks down as losses exist.
If Bph was up, no reason to sell as no losses to pull back cgt.
