Newcastle here, 17 years ago an East coast low
washed a coal ship the Pasha Bulka onto Newcastle beach. In 1974 the Sigma another ship washed up on another Newcastle beach Stockton. Again an East coast low. I witnessed both and the mountainous swell that came with it.
I believe the turbines have been tested in the North Sea swell. An East coast low is totally unpredictable and hopefully would wash a turbine or two up on Zali's beach.
Labor has totally lost their energy plan, I hope to meet with Sharon Clayton soon. Have had coffee with here in past.
