Hi Big K,
I was one of the first to put a Solar PV system on my roof….before it became trendy. That said, I refer you to the Whooshka Energy Policy which advocates renewables (Solar only) firmed by gas-fired generation of electricity. Nuclear should be investigated in the near future with a federal institute to develop an Australian Nuclear Industry to support the AUKUS submarine and Nuclear power generation industries. I seem to be able to come up with reasonable ideas without costing those Canberra Clowns millions of dollars in consultant fees.
One further idea I’ve come up with is for the Resources Ministers to increase the supply of gas on the East Coast of Australia by approving PEP 11!
Maybe companies like Orica in Newcastle that produces fertilisers and explosives wouldn’t be thinking of moving overseas because of uncertain, unaffordable gas supplies.
