If you put them up in Canberra they would have to be at the airport, selected accommodation and parliament house. The pollies don't live in Canberra they just FIFO for sitting days. The real Canberrans' have to deal with the ridiculous cost of living and in particular GAS prices, just like the rest of Australia and if you think they LOVE being the centre of derogatory attention just because back in the day some knob decided it would be a grand place for the seat of government, especially in times of war, think again!
