FA I've heard everything from a December 2024 election to March 2025 and even to full term in May 2025. Dutton seems to think it will be an early one, say December 2024.
IMO if they call an early election I'd say the tactic would be simply to delay and announcement on PEP11 until after the election. Considering the Government would go into caretaker mode, and its already been 16 months without a decision, I don't think they would care at all if they were simply to drag it out until after the election.
I guess it then becomes the next Government's problem to deal with.
