HI Bill------------------- Say an investor does research :-
-buys Opts on the basis that PEP11 was going ahead
-Scomo pokes his head in stops it.
-Referred to Court who states Scomo was wrong refers it back to NOPTA (?)
-In mean time a number of other projects get approved
-time goes by many months awaiting a decision
-no other reason for delay other than 'POLITICAL MEDLING'
-Opts date get close to expiry
Conclusion:-
-In view of the POLITICS involved one could assume that Opts holders would have a good 'Class Action Case' against the Govt.
-Opts would not have expired because of any normal 'Business Act'
-BUT THAT OF POLITICAL INTERFERENCE/DELAY - in the face of other similar (NOPTA ??? approvals
My opinion---- based on my limited understanding of this fiasco !
