Some tax is payed but it's peanuts.
Gas exported from 6 out of 10 LNG export facilities pay no royalties on the gas they sell overseas. 4 out of the 6 are in WA.
$111B worth of gas in WA went by royalty free.
The government missed out on $13.3B in revenue that should of been charged on gas exports in the last 4 years.
