Less than 3-6 mths in the Product Branding Corporate world.
Same product, Re-Brand.. Re-Label.. Re-Package at 10% less active product, then...
Introduce it as New & Improved... Special price... then Increase price 20%.......
Repeat.
For all else if you don't break the Chain then the Fat Hobbits just stay in the Shire.
